The Word of God. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the infallible rule of faith and conduct. 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
God’s Nature. We believe there is only one living and true God, eternal, with unlimited power, Creator of all things; and in the one God are three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:6; Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7.
Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived in a totally blameless life, died for our complete redemption from the law of sin and of death, was bodily resurrected on the third day having defeated Satan, and now sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for the saints until His return. Luke 1:27; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Hebrews 7:24-25, 9:14; Ephesians 2:13-15; Romans 8:27-34.
Man: His Fall and Redemption. We believe man was created good and upright, but man, by voluntary transgression, fell and took on the sin nature. His one and only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Genesis 1:26-27, 3:1-7; Romans 3:23, 5:12-21.
The Salvation of Man.
We believe salvation is a free gift of God and is received by grace, through faith, not of works. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:7.
We believe salvation is received through repentance toward God, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Acts 2:38, 4:12; Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16.
We believe the inward witness to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the spirit. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 1:14-16; Romans 8:16; James 2:26.
Believer’s Baptism. We believe a born-again person should be baptized in water upon repentance from sin and confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 3:21; Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:16.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe that all believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and should desire and expect to receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them. This is distinct and subsequent to their indwelling of the Holy Spirit and is made manifest by the speaking in tongues, spiritual gifts, and power for life and service. Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44=45, 19:6; 1 Corinthians 12:13-14; Mark 1 6:17.
The Lord’s Supper. We believe the Lord’s Supper is the Communion of the believers that gather to partake of the bread and the cup, thereby, commemorating the Lord’s death until He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 26:26-29; Luke 22:19-20; John 6: 51-57.
Deliverance and Divine Healing. We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine Healing in its varied aspects as practiced by the Early Church. Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14.
The Second Coming of Christ. We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for the church. John 1:42-24; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
The Final Judgement.
We believe there will be a bodily resurrection of the dead. The believer shall be raised to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord and the unbeliever to everlasting punishment. Revelation 20: 11-5; 2 Thessalonians 1:9
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the Eternal Judgement of Satan and the fallen angels. Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20: 10-15.
The New Heaven and the New Earth. “According to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1
